Meet the team
Hugh Miller, Editor-in-Chief
Hugh's travelled the world getting off-the-wall stories from the world's leading barbers, and inside scoops on the latest facial hair styles. As they say in San Francisco, don't fear the beard!
There's nowhere like the USA. It is MASSIVE and there's so much to explore! Finding my way around cities by patrolling barbershops is actually a great way to find the real character of a place. Favorites so far are San Francisco's Mission district, New York's East Village (well, before Avenue A and B got cleaned up!), and further afield, Yosemite and Hatteras. Hoping to pack in many more road trips... and editing this site is such a great way of meeting some truly out-there and interesting characters.
Ed Chipperfield, Features Writer
Ed's been rocking a beard for the last few years. A regular contributor to several magazines, Ed's a big fan of California - and recommends the Hotel Madonna should you be travelling Route One!
A specialist contributor to mens magazines, Ed Chipperfield has sported various beards for the past few years. "I wouldn't be seen without one" says Ed, who reckons his beard has bagged him more than a few creative contracts.
Kingsley Luu - the Trendspotter
Kingsley's based in sunny Los Angeles, California. Living in the middle of the Entertainment Capital of the World, there's a lot of trends to spot.
Hunting and gathering ideas and fads is what Kingsley does best. When not searching for the next best thing, he's making sure everyone else's up to date.
